
Campers Code of Conduct
- Please ensure that you are maintaining appropriate social distancing at all times and following the suggestions and guidelines of Health Authorities regarding PPE for Covid-19 response
- Please ensure you and those in your party read our Covid 19 Response Protocol prior to arriving onsite
- We do not allow visitors, local or otherwise, to our campground
- All bookings have the person who pays (cash or credit card) for the booking as the primary guest. The primary guest is responsible for the conduct of the other people in the booking and the primary guest must be camping and onsite nightly for the duration of the booking. Third party credit cards or cheques are not accepted for payment. Any damages or disputes will be the responsibility of the primary guest.
- Please remember that you are in a shared environment with other campers, wildlife and local people accessing the Mamquam River adjacent to our campground. Conduct yourself, children and pets in a responsible “No Trace” ,” No Disturb” manner. Dogs must be on a leash.
- Please be fire safe and aware of your fire at all times. Do not burn anything except the firewood provided by the campground staff. Do not burn plastics, wood from our forest or wood from the surrounding riverside area. No outside firewood is permitted. Do not create firepits on the dike or riverbanks as it is illegal and detrimental to the natural environment.
- Please do not set up tents or create shelters out of wood along the river area including on the dike.
- Please be very wildlife aware. Do not leave animal attractants, such as food outside on your picnic table, on the ground or in your tent. We have bear proof lockers for your use in our walk in tent areas. Please keep your potential wildlife attractants in your vehicle or RV in our drive in site areas.
- Please dispose of your dishwater into our outhouses or dishwashing facility (coming soon)
- No Generators
- Please keep your campfires small and ensure that they are extinguished prior to going to sleep.
- Please do not use motorized vehicles such as dirt bikes, quads, snowmobiles or drones in the campsite or surrounding area.
- All vehicles must be insured, including trailers. Management reserves the right to refuse service and including cancel bookings based on the state, condition and mechanical soundness of any vehicle, camper, trailer, RV, Bus or camping unit.
- No structures can be erected without management approval. No refund will be given for cancellations made within 72 hours of the reservation start date. No partial refunds for stays shortened for any reason.
